About us
Before us, six generations of farmers worked this land, producing food, raising livestock, and pressing fruit for juice and cider. The farm is home to the oldest manual juice press on the fjord, dating back to 1790 — preserved as part of the farm’s heritage. Today, we focus on growing sweet cherries, organic plums, and apples, which we use to produce juice and cider. Alongside farming, we welcome guests who want to experience a traditional Hardanger farm and learn about local food culture, history, and everyday life shaped by nature and seasons. Our farm stay offers a simple and authentic alternative to hotels — a place to slow down, explore the fjord landscape, and connect with long-standing traditions in a genuine rural setting.
With warm regards,
Arnfinn & Maria
